5 Migrants Die Crossing the English Channel, Hours After U.K. Passes Controversial Deportation Bill

The CEO of Amnesty International U.K. condemned the U.K. for passing a bill that would allow the government to deport some migrants who enter the country illegally to Rwanda. The news came hours before five migrants, including a child, died while attempting to cross the English channel, on Tuesday.
