How we test Christmas cake

The Good Housekeeping Institute tested 16 Christmas cakes to find the tastiest one for 2022. Looking at a mix of supermarkets and smaller independents, each cake was tasted blind to avoid brand bias, and served as suggested. They were looking for well-balanced bakes with classic festive flavours.
