CCTV footage shows supermarket items flying as earthquake hits Philippine province

Over a dozen houses were damaged by the 6.4-magnitude earthquake that rattled Davao Oriental, a province in the Philippines located in the Davao Region in Mindao, on Saturday, September 8.

The quake struck at around 3:20 pm in the afternoon.

This video shows the scene inside ER Supermall in Mati when the tremors happened.

"'You can see from the video just how strong the earthquake was. We're thankful that all of the customs and the staff were safe and nobody was injured," the store manager said.
